Experience:

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering

Deep knowledge of fabric, accessories, and industry standards.

Digital proficiency (ERP/PLM), with excellent bilingual communication (English/Bangla). 

Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, washing, and production processes.

Proven experience in supplier negotiation and global sourcing.

Familiarity with compliance standards (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, etc).

Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management: 

· Develop sourcing strategies for fabrics and accessories, diversifying the supplier base through evaluation and selection of partners.

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers locally and internationally.

· Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality and compliance.

· Analyze market trends, raw material pricing, and global supply chain risks

Cost & Supply Chain Optimization: 

· Negotiate pricing and lead times to meet production schedules, focusing on cost-effective procurement and optimized inventory management.

· Monitor cost drivers such as fabric, trims, logistics, and currency fluctuations.

· Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering.

Supply Chain Coordination

· Collaborate with merchandising, production and planning teams.

· Ensure timely availability of raw materials for production.

· Manage inventory levels to avoid overstock or shortages.

· Oversee logistics and shipment coordination when required.

Compliance & Sustainability: 

· Ensure materials meet quality and safety standards (e.g., RSL, GRS) while driving eco-friendly initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration: 

· Collaborate with production and merchandising teams, utilizing ERP systems for forecasting and mentoring a sourcing team. 

· Lead, mentor, and develop the sourcing team.
