Lead and manage the entire sample development process from proto to shipment sample stage.

Ensure on-time development and submission of all types of samples (Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP, TOP, Shipment Sample, etc.)

Analyze tech packs, buyer comments, and design requirements to ensure accurate sample execution.

Closely coordinate with Merchandising, IE, Production, Quality, and Planning teams.

Supervise pattern making, cutting, sewing, and finishing activities within the sample section.

Ensure correct fit, measurement, construction, and styling as per buyer standards.

Monitor and control sample quality to minimize rejection and rework.

Manage sample room capacity, planning, and workload distribution effectively.

Ensure proper utilization of fabric and trims for sampling.

Follow up with washing, printing, embroidery, and other value-added processes.

Provide technical guidance to team for solving complex garment construction issues.

Lead sample fitting sessions and implement necessary corrections.

Maintain sample tracking system and ensure timely status updates.

Develop and train sample team (pattern masters, operators, cutters, etc.).

Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and company policies.

Communicate directly with buyers (if required) regarding sample development and approvals.

Continuously improve sampling efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.

Implement technical innovations and process improvements.

Ensure accurate pattern development (manual & CAD).

Conduct sample fittings to meet buyer specifications.
