Responsibilities & Context:

This role is for the HOD of Commercial Department.

In short, role will include 100% documentation of export invoices with it relevant supporting docs. Record keeping and report generation. Follow up on Import, UD and banking related quarries.

Banking & Financial Coordination: Maintain strong working relationships with banks for Letters of Credit (LC) issuance, UPAS (including OBU and other instruments), and payment disbursement processes. Prepare and manage all documentation required for LC opening and related financial transactions

Regulatory Compliance & Licensing: Obtain, renew, and ensure the validity of all necessary licenses and certificates such as ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, VAT, EPB registration, Fire License, and DG goods import license, etc. Ensure full compliance with all commercial regulations and laws applicable to the organization’s supply chain and import operations.

Import & Logistics Management: Manage the commercial aspects of foreign consignments, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution. Coordinate with CNF agents, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and local transport providers for prompt clearance and delivery of shipments via sea, air, or land. Oversee cross-border logistics and ensure adherence to international shipping laws and customs regulations.

Liaison & Documentation: Establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant government and regulatory authorities. Prepare various commercial and financial documents, including statements and processing of invoices and bills, in accordance with internal and external requirements.
