Experience:
Masters/MBA in any discipline;
Candidate should have professional training in Quality concepts of knitted fabrics, Garment industry management and other similar filed.
At least 12 years of work experience in similar managerial position in larger apparel industry and also should have extensive knowledge with working experience of international reputed buyer as well as their brand products.
Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.
Should have work experience in Quality department and ensure all the Quality Management system to meet customer requirements;
Establish quality assurance and technical strategies; develop new strategies and to simplify complex quality issues;
Upkeep quality standard according to customer’s requirement; assure quality from development stage of sample to shipment;
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures (SOP);
Strong background in managing certified quality teams, developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, and coordinating with international buyers and technologists also oversee inspection of materials; ensure standards and regulations as per customer requirement;
Follow up all the Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and conduct Root Cause Analysis;
Ensure all concern points are corrected & 100% key POM are maintaining;
Ensure to maintain OQL & create defects reduction plan based on OQL & top 3 defects/ daily/weekly/monthly;
Specialize in overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of quality in production processes;
Any major problem found inform to QA & production team to resolve immediately;
Evaluating, and assessing products to determine that they meet the desired quality level;
Prepare reports related to quality and present to the respective internal and external stakeholders.
Moreover, candidate will ensure supervision, discipline and development of good organizational culture including welfare aspects of the work force of the factory.
