Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 3 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Creates test design strategies and test plans that are appropriate to the type of application under test and the types of bugs sought.
∎ Verifies software functionality for software development projects based on the test strategies and test plans created.
∎ Utilizes various software testing methodologies to identify the decision points in the software. Testing methodologies utilized may include but are not limited to scripted, exploratory, ad-hoc, and black box testing.
∎ Creates test data/conduct database queries as required to evaluate software functionality.
∎ Creates defect tracking for application deficiencies found during testing.
∎ Creates and maintains manual and automated regression tests and regression suites to aid in the QA regression process.
∎ Acts as a quality advocate within their Scrum team to ensure standards as necessary throughout the Agile SDLC.
∎ Create standard documents like test plan, UAT document, Test results, Traceability Matrix etc for different QA SDLC process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in test strategy and test plan creation as well as working experience within an Agile/Scrum environment is a must.
∎ Need to be experienced in testing web based applications.
∎ Practical working experience with Databases, SQL Scripting.
∎ Experience in planning the implementation of automated test plans and automated testing using either open source or commercial test automation tools is a plus.
∎ Experience with Load and Performance Testing Tools is a plus.
∎ Experience working with offshore teams is a plus.
