∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ With a user-first approach and having unique knowledge of the systems, work closely with manual testers, product managers and the development team to produce the best features and functionality to increase Ding’s success.
∎ Develop and execute automated test cases using Selenium, Appium, Cypress, NightwatchJS, Jmeter (the latter for load testing only).
∎ Collaborate with the development and manual testing team to identify areas for test automation and to implement automation solutions.
∎ Identify and prioritise test cases based on risk analysis and business impact.
∎ Participate in code reviews from Senior Automation engineers and apply feedback and best practices to automated tests.
∎ Mentor Junior QAs in automation.
∎ Contribute to acceptance and regression testing efforts for the team if required.
∎ Running automated tests, monitoring results for regression purposes
∎ Monitoring logs and deciding when there is a problem, during the testing process; investigating possible bugs
∎ Reporting bugs following the team standards
∎ Develop a strong knowledge of the high dependency multi-tiered architecture
∎ Champion excellent quality within the team; push high standards in all aspects of development
∎ Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
∎ Develop a deep understanding of the Kanban methodologies the teams within Ding use

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 3+ years’ experience in a software testing and test automation.
∎ Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, NightwatchJS, Jmeter – the latter for load testing only).
∎ Working experience with OOP languages such as C# or Java.
∎ Experience with version control systems and repositories such as Git and Bitbucket.
∎ Experience with testing web and back-end applications.
∎ Managing frequent release cycles.
∎ Ability to interrogate databases using SQL.
∎ Solid experience of product and testing tools such as JIRA Agile, Bugzilla, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.
∎ Knowledge working in an Agile environment.
∎ Strong communication skills.
∎ Experience gained in an online transaction processing environment.
∎ Experience testing across high dependency multi-tiered applications.
∎ A Bachelor’s Degree such as Software Engineering, Computer Science or related
