∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Install, configure and support large-scale production and network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, load balancers and other network equipment
∎ We are a Palo Alto house and have equipment throughout the worldwide enterprise
∎ VPN setup and troubleshooting
∎ Monitor system hardware and software and manage system and service performance
∎ Configuration of voice and wireless services and equipment
∎ Perform periodic security reviews and maintain network infrastructure to appropriate security standards
∎ Provide technical security support, advice and further analysis on the vendor products and technologies listed below for our customers infrastructure security needs
∎ The provision of detailed and accurate guidance on the use of client products to support our customer base
∎ Effectively interact with other members of the team to provide security solutions to technical issues
∎ Support the business day to day needs and be part of a rotational on-call support workflow to respond to urgent out of hours Network issues. Therefore, flexibility is essential for this role
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ At least 5 years' experience in a network engineer role
∎ Heavy experience of Palo Alto Firewalls and Load Balancers (specific with iRules)
∎ 1+ years AWS/Azure Cloud based experience
∎ Degree in IT, Engineering or other related experience
∎ Industry standard certification, e.g.: Security+, CCNP + Experience, MCSA
∎ Exposure to enterprise WAF such as iNCAPSULACloudflare a requirement
∎ Good knowledge of SSL Certificates and encryption protocols
∎ Some exposure to Aruba WIFI network solutions
∎ Excellent knowledge of DNS, BGP and large-scale internet connectivity
∎ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to put the user first when formulating a solution
∎ Some involvement with enterprise monitoring solutions such as Nagios/Zabbix
∎ Someone who is not afraid of challenging projects and is open to looking at new ways to resolve them
∎ Takes responsibility for assigned tasks, and is accountable for driving tasks through to completion
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills
∎ Linux exposure with scripting skills a nice to have
