Building Construction
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Study contract documents to understand quality requirement of materials of the project.
∎ Collect quotation from all available sources.
∎ Evaluate vendors considering quality, availability, delivery issues, market reputation, brand values and past records with BFEW, prepare comparative statement.
∎ Conduct capacity survey of vendors.
∎ Prepare purchase order, handover approved PO and monitor the performance of vendors to ensure smooth progress of works, take corrective action where/when necessary.
∎ Monitor payments to the vendors; intervene when necessary to ensure vendor satisfaction with BFEW.
∎ Verify documents and records collected from internal and external sources.
∎ Keep all documents and records up-to-date in a systematic, well protected and easily retrievable manner.
∎ Keep Line Manager informed by routine and ad hoc reports.
∎ Any other activities to fulfill tasks.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 42 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 4 years experience in Purchase department in a reputable construction firm or developers. Able to write in English, Computer skills required., Hard working
Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
