Experience:
Diploma/ Bachelor/ BBA degree in Management Information Systems (MIS)/ Statistics/ CSE/ ICT/ Communications.
Additional courses on MS office, Advance level of MS Excel, Power BI will be added advantage.
Having good typing speed and accuracy in Arabic language is a plus.
Must have strong computer literacy in Microsoft ERP, ODK, , and Microsoft Office packages.
Ability to collect daily activity information from field teams and follow up for completeness and timeliness.
Strong Arabic and English communication (written and verbal).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications, Basic AI tools, and online data portals such as one drive, SharePoint, portal etc.
Good communication, coordination, and time‑management skills to meet daily reporting deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and manage large workloads.
Understanding of data confidentiality and responsible information handling.
Technical understanding on aesthetics of audio-visuals, aspects, ambient lighting, landscapes and basic editing knowledge.
Minimum 3 years of proven relevant work experience in development project coordination in an NGO.
Ability to handle data confidentiality.
Arabic as well as English proficiency.
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Officer (Data Management) will support project implementation by ensuring accurate and timely collection, validation, and entry of field-level data in line with organizational and donor requirements. Based in Dhaka, the role requires close coordination with field teams to gather, verify, and upload project information into central systems. Proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), including strong reading and writing skills for professional and administrative use, is essential for this role. The position plays a key role in maintaining data quality, confidentiality, and up-to-date records to support reporting and informed decision-making, while efficiently handling large volumes of data

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Objective 1: Project Data Management and Field Communication
Regular communication with field staff, vendors, and local communities to collect daily updates on ongoing project activities.
Timely collection of consistent accurate information from field locations to Dhaka office.
Close collaboration with field teams to understand activity plans, targets and reporting timelines.
Follow up with field personnel to ensure submission of activity data in prescribed formats and within deadlines.
Support smooth implementation of projects by flagging delays or missing information received from the field.
Data processing and record keeping of identified beneficiaries for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene services and communities in line with the Qatar Charity’s beneficiary selection policy.
Maintain organized logs of field communications, data submissions, and follow‑up actions.
Objective 2: Gaps and Trend Analysis as well as maintaining Issues Log
Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing information within field-level submissions.
Provide day-to-day guidance to local committees or vendors to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
Communicate promptly with field teams to clarify discrepancies or obtain missing data.
Flag recurring data quality issues or reporting delays to projects Coordinator for corrective action.
Suggest practical improvements to data collection, reporting formats, or workflows to enhance efficiency.
Assist the project team in improving data quality and reporting discipline through continuous follow‑up.
Objective 3: Documentation, Reporting & Compliance
Accurately enter, update, and maintain field activity data in the shared folders and on the online portal.
Cleanse, validate, and standardize data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency before upload.
Ensure that all data entries comply with project guidelines, approved indicators, templates, and reporting standards.
Upload verified information to the central portal within defined reporting timelines.
Maintain proper documentation of source data, corrections, and revisions for reference and audit purposes.
Support preparation of routine reports by ensuring updated and error‑free datasets are available.
Adhere strictly to data confidentiality, security, and ethical data handling protocols.
Prepare high-quality weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reports for the Projects Coordinator.
Maintain accurate project folders, both digital and hard copy, according to QC documentation standards.
