EXPIRIENCE:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a relevant field within the NGO sector in Bangladesh. Experience in School Feeding Programmes and working with Rohingya communities will be highly valued. Proficiency in understanding and speaking Chittagonian and/or Rohingya languages will be considered an asset.

SKILLS:

  • Inventory control: Stock cards, FEFO/FIFO, lot & batch tracking, cycle counting.
  • Documentation: GRN, Waybill, discrepancy & incident reports.
  • Previous experience with school feeding programme will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to believe and follow Qatar Charity’s principles and values.
  • Ability to handle work pressure and challenges and lead change management.
  • Good command over Rohingya language will be an added advantage.

DEPARTMENT: Humanitarian Department _ School Feeding Programme 2026

WORK BASE: Qatar Charity Coxs bazar Office

WORK AREA: Teknaf, Coxs bazar.

Reporting To: Hierarchical: Partnership Coordinator

Functional: Senior Programme Officer

JOB SUMMARY: The Support Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of office premises, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Objective 1: Commodity Accountability & Stock Control.

  • Maintain daily stock, bin cards, and warehouse ledgers for each item and batch/lot.
  • Implement FEFO/ FIFO (First Expiry First Out / First In First Out) and lot tracking to prevent spoilage and ensure traceability.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly full physical inventory; prepare variance reports with corrective actions.
  • Prepare and file Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Notes (DN), Waybills, Issue Vouchers, and Stock Movement Forms; ensure all documents are signed, dated, and archived.
  • Update stock status reports (daily/weekly/monthly) including opening, receipts, issues, closing, days of stock, and near expiry alerts.
  • Coordinate with Field monitors and Programme teams for alignment on delivery schedules and documentation.
  • Participate in coordination meetings; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Objective 2: Efficient Receiving, Dispatch & Last Mile Distribution

  • Schedule and supervise loading/unloading with accurate counting; verify delivery documents against Waybills.
  • Deliver commodities as per approved distribution.
  • Coordinate volunteers and school focal points; ensure Waybills is collected, complete, and returned on time.
  • Optimize volunteer utilization; monitor losses/spillage and report incidents immediately.
  • Brief volunteers on safe food handling protocols and safe stacking.

Objective 3: Risk Management & Security

  • Implement access control (authorized entry) and CCTV/security log coordination.
  • Ensure incident/accident reporting are documented.

Objective 4: Safeguarding & Compliance

  • Adherence to Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Anti Fraud/Anti Corruption, and Code of Conduct.
  • Respect community dynamics in Cox’s Bazar, including Rohingya and host communities.
  • Mandatory completion of safeguarding and security trainings and periodic refreshers.
