Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Officer (PO) will report to Project Coordinator;
∎ Ensure that project targets are achieved as per planned schedule.
∎ Assist Project Coordinator in achieving programmatic objectives; planning, implementation and progress; and ensure approval and endorsement of all plans;
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual work plan and reports to accomplish the targeted activities;
∎ He/she will ensure the process and method of structured participatory monitoring and evaluation system of the project;
∎ Project Officer is responsible to implement the project activities at field level;
∎ Ensure all resources mobilization and proper utilization following the Shushilan and donor’s compliance;
∎ Project Officer will facilitate community peoples for Community Situation Analysis (CSA) and; Gender and WASH analysis; as well as prepare reports.
∎ Select beneficiaries as per set criteria.
∎ Project Officer will facilitate community to form WASHCOMs and monthly meeting of WASHCOMs.
∎ Project Officer will form hygiene groups and conduct hygiene sessions regularly;
∎ Participate in the staffs meeting and update Conduct need based and periodical progress and ensure record keeping and dissemination;
∎ Develop community’s capacity and established effective follow-up mechanism, so that future maintenance initiatives are conducted by the community with their resource and capacity.
∎ Capture field information, prepare case-studies, update database and prepare reports.
∎ Maintain gender and equality following the organizational policy and practice.
∎ Respect, maintain and monitor code of conduct practice;
∎ All kind of positive motivation to support and response in emergency;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5 years working experiences in management position in the field of Safe Water, Sanitation, Hygiene Promotion and development project in Bangladesh with NGOs.
∎ Strong understanding of key aspects of WASH and community mobilization
∎ Understand and able to use PRA tools
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Zoom/Skype/Team etc.
∎ Ability to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike license
Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
