∎ 4-5 Years of NGO project implementation experience in Women's Leadership, Human Rights, and Gender Based Violence (GBV)
∎ He/she must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
∎ At least 4-5 years of experience in implementing women's leadership and representation projects
∎ Proven expertise in project management and donor reporting
∎ Strong understanding of gender equality, women's empowerment, and human rights
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bangla and English
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
∎ Familiarity with NGOAB regulations and government procedures

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Jamalpur, Netrokona, Sirajganj, Pabna, Natore, Jhenaidah, Joypurhat (67 Unions, 07 Upazilas in 07 Districts)
∎ Dhaka
∎ 30 months renewable based on performance and funding
∎ The Project Officer will be responsible for the efficient planning, execution, and management of activities under the Nagorikata-Civic Engagement Fund (CEF)-EmpowerHer project. The role involves working closely with the 7 District Human Rights Monitoring Officers, 8 Upazila Facilitators, and other stakeholders to promote women's leadership and representation while ensuring the project's objectives align with organizational and donor standards.
∎ Develop detailed work plans and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
∎ Ensure timely implementation of project activities in the 67 unions across 7 upazilas in 7 Districts.
∎ Facilitate capacity-building initiatives for women leaders, women peer leaders, and community stakeholders.
∎ Build strong relationships with local government institutions, women's organizations, and community groups.
∎ Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, including donors and local authorities.
∎ Coordinate with the Partner Organizations, local government, and community leaders to ensure alignment with project goals.
∎ Oversee the implementation of the project's monitoring and evaluation framework.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and provide on-site support to field teams.
∎ Prepare and submit accurate and timely project progress reports, including case studies and success stories.
∎ Supervise and mentor field staff and project office staff
∎ Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
∎ Address any challenges or bottlenecks in project delivery.
∎ Lead advocacy campaigns promoting women's leadership and representation at Union, Upazila and District Level
∎ Organize community-level dialogues and events to foster gender equality
∎ Represent the project in local and national forums, as required.
∎ Ensure that project expenditures are in line with approved budgets.
∎ Collaborate with the finance team to maintain transparent and accurate financial records.
∎ Assist in preparing financial reports for the donor.
∎ Comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and yearly progress reports.
