∎ What we are looking for:
∎ Project Officer - Creating Space to take actions on VAWG Project is responsible for providing support in implementing the project in line with the overall Oxfam Strategic Plan, program, Gender thematic strategies and Programming guidelines.

∎ Under the technical guidance of the Project Manager (Gender Justice and Social Inclusion Coordinator, the Project Officer will be responsible for planning and implementing project with local partners at field level, with a special focus on GBV and Protection activities. She/he will ensure the inclusion of gender into all aspects of program planning processes and activities, both with Oxfam and Partners.

∎ Strong understanding and proven experiences on Gender and ending violence against women programme development and implementation at field and national level

∎ Understanding of advocacy, campaigning and communications and how they contribute to achieving programme goals
∎ Some experience of voluntary social work or working with voluntary organizations.
∎ Experience of facilitating trainings, workshops and other forms of capacity building activities
∎ Strong commitment to the rights of the most marginal communities
∎ Strong commitment to the Women's Rights
∎ Strong commitment to the values of accountability, inclusiveness and empowerment
∎ Forward looking and visionary
∎ Emotional intelligence to deal with a diverse range of stakeholder including from government, private sector, civil society and grassroots communities.

Salary:
∎ BDT. 7,27,205 gross per annum (13 months) with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.
