∎ The Senior Programme Officer (SPO) is responsible for overseeing projects, including financial management and compliance, while ensuring effective coordination with thematic and programme management heads. The SPO will promote safe programming in collaboration with sector leads, advisors, and managers, and ensure community participation influences programme decisions. They will adopt a partnership approach and work according to feminist principles, being mindful of power dynamics. The role involves close coordination and collaboration with other projects and technical teams, including Climate Action, Food Security and Livelihood, Natural Resource Rights, Ecosystem Restoration, Just Energy Transition, and MEAL teams, to ensure integrated programme delivery.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per Oxfam National D1 pay band, the starting annual salary for this role is BDT 1,462,326.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
