The role:

• The Head of Programmes at Oxfam In Bangladesh will provide strategic leadership for its integrated humanitarian, development, and influencing portfolio. As a member of the Country Leadership Team, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality, locally led, feminist, and partnership-based programmes. The role is responsible for driving programme quality, humanitarian preparedness and response, resource mobilisation, strategic partnerships, evidence-based influencing, and organisational learning while ensuring alignment with Oxfam's Global Strategic Framework 2030 and the Bangladesh Country Strategy. You will represent Oxfam with government, donors, UN agencies, civil society, and other key stakeholders to maximise programme impact and influence across Bangladesh.

• Salary & Benefits: as per Oxfam National C1 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDTXXX (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
