Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Position Summary
The Fundraising Consultant will provide strategic and technical support to SRAC in strengthening its fundraising, resource mobilization, donor engagement, grant development, and international partnership initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of institutional fundraising, international donors, foundations, CSR programs, development financing, grant writing, and partnership development, along with excellent communication and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected consultant(s) will be responsible for:
•Develop and implement effective fundraising and resource mobilization strategies aligned with SRAC’s organizational priorities and development programs.
• Identify, research, assess, and prioritize potential international donors, foundations, philanthropic organizations, CSR programs, institutional funders, and development partners.
• Regularly monitor national and international funding opportunities, calls for proposals, tenders, grants, and partnership opportunities.
• Develop high-quality concept notes, project proposals, grant applications, funding pitches, expressions of interest, and donor presentations.
• Prepare and maintain a structured funding opportunity and donor pipeline for SRAC.
• Establish, develop, and maintain professional relationships with prospective donors, funding agencies, foundations, corporations, NGOs, and strategic partners.
• Support SRAC in developing strategic partnerships and consortium opportunities with national and international organizations.
• Conduct donor research and prepare donor profiles, funding intelligence, partnership mapping, and opportunity assessments.
• Support the preparation of project budgets, logical frameworks, organizational profiles, capability statements, presentations, and other fundraising materials.
• Provide strategic advice on donor positioning, proposal competitiveness, partnership development, and resource mobilization.
• Support donor communication, follow-up, negotiation, and partnership development processes.
• Track submitted proposals and funding opportunities and maintain an organized fundraising opportunity database.
• Prepare periodic fundraising progress reports and provide strategic recommendations to SRAC management.
• Explore innovative fundraising approaches, including institutional grants, CSR partnerships, philanthropic funding, digital/online fundraising, international partnerships, and other legitimate resource mobilization mechanisms.
• Contribute to strengthening SRAC’s long-term institutional fundraising systems, policies, tools, and capacity.
