Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide the Team lead with assessed accurate verified information that feed in Developing and implementing an appropriate and effective WASH strategy, setting clear objectives and indicators, for WASH activities in consultation with other WASH staff and field staff, and, where appropriate, with the local communities
∎ Provide the team lead with accurate and timely reporting of activities according to BRAC, donor and other applicable time frames and formats as per the organization and sector approved proposals and plans
∎ Manage the assigned WASH project(s) in different project cycle to meet the project objectives within budget and allotted time frame through proper plans setting and time management with leading effective communication and decision making
∎ Manage the WASH team human resources and provide technical support, training and capacity building.
∎ lead the development and execution of the accurate work, coordination , M&E Plan and procurement are developed and revised timely and strictly applied in the field
∎ Manage the program budget through the passing of timely orders, the preparation of monthly forecasts and the monitoring of expenditure.
∎ Track the progress of activities resources and other expenditure, ensure the project is on track and provide on-time internal status reports and external donor reports.
∎ Identify and monitor risks, constraints or escalating issues, take the necessary preventive actions as required
∎ lead he project team to implement all the humanitarian accountability related strategies and charters that BRAC signed and ensure the project follows the accountability to Affected Population Frame work (AAPF) in all the project cycle
∎ Lead the project implementation and at the field level through proper communication and ensure every and each field staff use the project approved plans, objective and committed outputs clearly
∎ Lead the documentation of the project in all the aspects following BRAC and the donors procedures and ensure all the documentation are within the standards and the agreed deadline
∎ Train the project staff in all issues related to the program quality and all actuality related issues and ensure they practice in the project implementation
∎ ensure the communication and the coordination is established in both Cox's Bazar and the field with the relevant stakeholders ( Government, UN, and communities)
∎ Actively Participate in the coordination meeting at the filed and provide the requested information with feedback to WASH team lead or BRAC Senior management
∎ lead the coordination in areas under the project through clear guidance to the field coordinator and ensure BRAC fulfil all the coordination aspect in the field as per sector TOR and coordination mechanisms
∎ Provide the PQ and the team lead with the accurate and assessed information help in quality proposal development in timely manner
∎ lead the different committed project reports drafting as per the agreed timeline and with accurate and reliable information without any delay
∎ Lead the project evaluation through drafting quality TOR and timely submission of the final reports and provide the feedback to the sector level assessments and reports and extract the project area information for better use of BRAC.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent team management and leadership skills and Project Management.
∎ Knowledge of the latest theories, technology and practices in: Community based sanitation hygiene education or latrine construction and waste management.
∎ Strong physical ability to do field work in harsh camp conditions.
∎ Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint,
∎ Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality
