Responsibilities & Context:

The Project Manager – Solar EPC will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned Solar EPC projects from project mobilization through testing, commissioning, and final handover. The role will oversee project planning and scheduling, civil construction activities, procurement and installation coordination, cost and progress monitoring, quality and HSE compliance, stakeholder coordination, and overall project execution. The position will work closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure timely and effective delivery of Solar EPC projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and execute assigned Solar EPC projects from mobilization through testing, commissioning and final handover.

• Develop project plans, schedules, work methodologies and resource plans.

• Coordinate civil works including site development, foundations, mounting structures, equipment foundations, drainage, roads and related infrastructure.

• Coordinate engineering, procurement and installation of solar modules, mounting systems, inverters, transformers, DC/AC cabling, earthing and other Balance-of-System components.

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets and milestones and take corrective actions when required.

• Review BOQs, quantities, project costs, variations, contractor bills and supporting documents in coordination with Commercial and Finance teams.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality requirements, HSE standards and contractual obligations.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, synchronization, grid/utility requirements and final project handover.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, utility/regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.

• Identify project risks and execution issues and implement timely mitigation measures.

• Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and contractors to ensure effective project execution.
