Job Responsibilities:
∎ Share the project overview with staff members including targets, time period and achievement process
∎ Lead the project team to active the target with quality and quantity
∎ Implement project activities following details implementation plan (DIP)/review DIP time to time
∎ Prepare staff guideline for project
∎ Support to prepare staff monthly plan and review the progress accordingly
∎ Organize and conduct project inception meeting
∎ Manage an assessment for job market, industry’s trade-skill gap and skill providers at local level
∎ Ensure building relationships with local skill provider, industry owners association and private job provider to develop trade specific skilled people and job creation
∎ Manage identification and selection of 600 people from poor and extreme poor households to participate in a transformation process for vocational and skill training and decent job
∎ Ensure participants to receive trade specific vocational and skill training from vocation training institute and skill training providers
∎ Develop linkage between skill provider, skilled people, local job providers for employment/apprenticeship through the agencies
∎ Manage vocational training and post job monitoring support to employees and employers
∎ Establishing link with govt. line department, private sector actors and local service providers to ensure availability of services, technology and inputs in the local market
∎ Strengthen capacity building of targeted participants on resilient farming through training and seasonal farmers meeting to increase their production and household incomes
∎ Ensure to provide grant and input support to the marginal and landless farmers for resilient farming through group farming or collective farming practice
∎ Develop linkage poor and extreme poor farmers with forward market through contract farming in 6 unions.
∎ Strengthen the capacity building process of Community Water Management Committee to manage public water ponds, mobilize local resources and advocate with local government to increase support to address the water crisis at community and ward level.
∎ Developing community business model to access in private pond and other locally available water sources to create a safe water supply to remote areas.
∎ Supervise UCs to influence and advocacy with local govt. institutions and relevant govt. department to ensure better targeting and coverage of social safety net for extreme poor
∎ Ensure integration of Go and NGO initiative to develop plan at union level to address the impact of Climate Change and disaster
∎ Continue liaison and coordination within project and outside project for achieving the common targets
∎ Guide and monitor the interventions, analysis the progress, and prepare plan to improve the gap areas at project level
∎ Prepare monthly budget requisition, control the budget and support to prepare financial report as per Shushilan and donor requirement.
∎ Represent project in different forums, seminar, workshops and meetings
∎ Conduct staff appraisal and take Initiatives and actions on building the capacity of project staffs
∎ Maintain regular liaison and communication with higher authority, govt. sectors, NGOs, INGOs, LGIs and other stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate audit, donor visit, consultant for baseline survey, evaluation, audit etc.
∎ Conduct staff meeting, staff coordination meeting and participate other project and organization related meeting
∎ Capture documentation, best practices and lesson learnt and share with respective personnel
∎ Introduce innovations in project planned interventions with taking concern from supervisor
∎ Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly, yearly narrative report as per project design and submit to focal person
Additional Requirements:
∎ Capacity in project management with conceptual understanding
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
∎ Experience in working as part of a team
∎ Strong planning/organizational skills
∎ Willing to work with partially flexible work hours
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license
Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
