Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall project coordination and management in three upazilas (Morrelganj, Sarankhola, Koyra, and Paikgacha) of Bagerhat and Khulna district.
∎ Have good knowledge in climate change, disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, livelihood, climate induced migration, etc.
∎ Ensure project implementation timely and effectively to ensure the sustainability of the project interventions with required standards.
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of local government structures and activities & national policy on Food Security and Livelihoods, Migration, Climate Change, and DRR.
∎ Facilitate effective coordination and joint planning between the partners and other key stakeholders towards achieving objective and specific results outlined in the project documents.
∎ Ensure timely production of quality reports for donors on project outcomes.
∎ Have good knowledge of budget preparation, implementation process.
∎ Previous experience and technical knowledge in Food Security and Livelihoods, Migration, Climate Change, and DRR related projects.
∎ Worked for national or an international organization in the area of environment, and humanitarian assistance with a focus on Climate change and Disaster Risk Reduction. Familiarity with relevant policies and working experience with coastal context will be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent skills in training, designing, and facilitation on community mobilization and advocacy.
∎ Ability to prepare program reports and event reports after completion of workshop/training etc.
∎ Good skill in Advocacy & Campaign.
∎ Document lessons learned and best practices.
∎ Frequent field visits will be required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 08years job experience with NGO/development sector.
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Good computer knowledge of -Microsoft package (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
∎ Experience in working as part of a team
∎ Strong planning/organizational skills
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills
∎ Willing to work with partially flexible work hours
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license
Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
