Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any recognised University/ Institutions with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee BRAC's community-based protection and sexual and gender-based violence protection activities
∎ Manage a multi-sectoral team of lawyers, social workers, psychosocial support
∎ workers and community outreach workers
∎ Liaise, cooperate and create partnerships with other organisations to ensure cohesive service coverage
∎ Conduct regular community consultations with refugee and host community to ensure feedback on services
∎ Ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation of projects on site
∎ Manage budget and expenses of Protection activities
∎ Work with donors to create ongoing partnerships
∎ Integrate gender-mainstreaming principles throughout all protection activities
∎ Train BRAC protection team on Protection principles, SGBV principles, service provision and refugee rights
∎ Attend and participate in Protection, SGBV and PSEA cluster meetings
∎ Ensure BRAC's compliance with PSEA standards
∎ Coordinate with all Protection Gender based Violence (GBV) sectors in government, UN and NGOs at district and sub-district levels
∎ Provide technical support to the Protection GBV and CBP team to ensure a high standard of implementation of strategy and activities
∎ Coordinate in the smooth communication between the Head Office Focal Persons and the Protection GBV team in the field.
∎ Take initiative in proposal development for Protection GBV sector and quality reporting as per the report agreements
∎ Take initiative in fund raising; develop proposal, result framework and budget
∎ Review programme performance and MIS, and provide feedback to the Protection GBV team through Technical Specialist, Protection GBV Cluster

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in GBV, CBP & Protection or of any other relevant sectors
∎ Knowledge of Protection in emergency context
∎ Knowledge of Project Planning and implementation
∎ Knowledge of GBV in Emergency context
∎ English: fluency in the language, expected to work independently using the language required to prepare a variety of written communications (correspondence, reports, working papers etc.), to participate actively in meetings and in work related discussions
∎ Ability to use computers and have knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
∎ Teamwork spirit and community mobilization skills
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Problem solving skills
