Project Manager will be responsible for project design, implementation, Resource & Budget management, team management, Coordination and monitoring, as well as providing technical guidance to the project staff to address challenges and ensure successful project cycle management.
Ensure that the Community Based protection deliverables and activities are of high quality; adhere to core humanitarian standards, and accountability to affected population
Develop, update, and ensure effective implementation of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for protection programming, in collaboration with the partner and the other stakeholder.
Provide strategic input in assessments, studies, and research to develop evidence-based programs.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing donor partners, ensuring transparent communication and regular updates on program progress.
Document and communicate program successes and challenges to donors and stakeholders, highlighting the program’s impact.
Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all project-related materials, reports, and communication for audit and reporting purposes.
Project design of CBP, setting up, outcome and Impact indicators, finalizing activities and target.
Ensure that key milestones, targets and deliverables are met on time and within scope, addressing any challenges or delays in coordination with relevant teams.
Ensure all expenditures are in line with the approved budget and financial guidelines, flagging potential issues and implementing corrective measures if needed.
Work closely with the finance team to reforecast and adjust the budget if necessary, ensuring alignment with project activities and donor requirements.
Collaborate with the Project Development team to produce high-quality reports for donors, detailing project progress, challenges, and financial expenditures
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
