Bachelor Degree / BBA / MBA / Master in any discipline
Knowledge on supply chain Management/ procurement process.
Smooth communication, coordination with all internal and external stake holders in terms of meeting compliances of BPGIP.
Selection of accredited Vendors, price negotiation, smoothing delivery functions, vendor & contract management, and market sourcing.
Able to work independently all sorts of local & foreign procurement for all of BRAC Programs.
Team work
Ensure fully compliant procurement under BPGIP, SPA, and donor guidelines by managing all local goods purchases, supporting team and supervisors, and delivering the right products to stakeholders on time, in the right quantity, quality, cost, and condition.
Validate specifications and issue RFQ/IFT in compliance with BPGIP procurement methods.
Manage vendor bill verification, documentation (delivery challan, mushok, etc.), ERP submission, and ensure timely payment to local and foreign suppliers as applicable.
Maintain strong coordination with programs, enterprises, finance, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations at optimal cost.
Conduct regular sourcing and market exploration to develop new vendors, reduce inventory levels, and manage lead times effectively.
Lead and monitor team members’ procurement activities, including reviewing purchase documents as per HRPP authority and tracking weekly pending reports.
Handle emergency and special-occasion purchases promptly while ensuring full compliance.
Preserve and present procurement files for domestic and donor audit trail requirements.
Organize annual stakeholder and partners’ forums to minimize procurement issues and strengthen collaboration across head office and field levels.
Support the procurement department in facilitating BRAC’s transformation toward a social enterprise model

Safeguarding responsibilities
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
