Education:

  • At least Graduate or DMF/Paramedic/ MLOP/ DOLV with NGO experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in the health-related programs/NGO.

  • Sales or marketing job experience also preferable.

Skills:

  • Should have proper knowledge about Bangladesh Health Sector.

  • Should have service-related technical knowledge.

  • Should have adequate skill on community mobilization.

  • Should have proper reporting skill both register and online.

  • Should have efficiencies in eye screening camp conduction.

  • Communication skills at community.



Responsibilities & Context:

Ensure achievements of Eye Care Project in coordination with internal team members and external stakeholders. Identification and correction of Presbyopia at community level.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and mobilize individuals to attend the Eye Camps.

  • Create awareness on Eye Health among participants.

  • Organize and conduct Eye Camps at community, school, college, clubs, market, mosque and SAJIDA Foundation field offices.

  • Conduct screening, confirm identification, motivate the confirmed participants to avail the appropriate powered glasses and ensure conversion.

  • Establish a strong referral system and refer individuals with conditions other than presbyopia for appropriate management.

  • Coordinate with team members, particularly development and MF staffs, to execute the RGIL program implementation at field.

  • Prepare and submit reading glass requisitions, and ensure proper maintenance of stock.

  • Consistent evaluation of target versus achievement.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly progress reports along with online data entry.

  • Deposit the cash from the conversion of reading glasses into the designated account in accordance to policy.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

 Minor Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the monthly action plan.

  • Prepare a success story of the project each month and send to HO including photos and signed consent forms.

  • Attend various meetings and training sessions as required.

  • Organize and celebrate national days related to eye care.

  • Rapport building and collaboration with related stakeholders especially local Government, local NGO’s, etc.

  • Any other task assigned by organization.
