Experience Requirements
At least 12 years of experience, out of which minimum 05 years working experience in a senior position of Finance & Accounts department of any Bank/Finance Company.
Candidate should have adequate & relevant both Accounting & Technical (IT/System/Software) knowledge, skill and experience to remove any data/figure mismatch between different documents/statements/Reports (i.e. CL & Financial Statements) of the company.
Additional Job Requirements:
Should have competency on computer based accounting system.
Capable of multitasking with strong communication and presentation skills
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self motivated/proactive and problem-solving skills.
Experienced in Data entry in customized software and familiar with Microsoft Office/MS Excel.
Experience in Tally software would be adding advantage.
Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
Age may be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Responsibilities & Context:
People’s Leasing and Financial Services Limited (PLFS) referred to as “Company” is a Finance Company under The Finance Companies Act 2023 is regulated by Bangladesh Bank. To meet the company’s present need we are looking for experienced, energetic, result-oriented and self motivated candidate, male or female, to act as Chief Financial Officer.
Job Description / Responsibility
To build up a powerful and effective financial discipline and strengthen the accounting capacity of the Finance Company.
To implement the policy & procedures relating to Financial Management, Accounting, Budget and planning and to improve the quality of Financial Operation.
To develop the financial strategy of the Finance Company and strength the financial capability of the Finance Company.
To undertake a program for supplying key management information to the management/regulatory authority.
To update the finance company’s accounting systems as per International Accounting Standard (IAS), Bangladesh Bank Guidelines and Bank Company Act. Reviewing the Institutions financial conditions to position and recommend viable alternatives for cost effective operations of the company.
To assist the company in the field of Financial and Management Accounting, Costing and Auditing, other fields of important activities will include developing and implementing computerized accounting system and management accounting system.
To provide recommendations on accounting split between good and bad assets.
To establish a powerful and effective accounting system of the company and to help for preparing accounts of the company timely.
To strengthen the effective and management of the finance company.
To Review the various financial statements including annual financial statements, develop and improve the deficiency, if any.
Capable to handle Tax authority regarding Corporate Tax, Employee Tax, Source Tax and VAT.
To perform any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the authority.
The CFO will report & work in close consultation with the concerned Managing Director of the Finance Company.
