Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure implementation of BRAC's Emergency Nutrition Responses under Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Provide overall technical support for developing the adapted training materials, job aids, IEC.
∎ Ensure materials and monitoring tools for nutrition support.
∎ Develop guideline, schedule, action points for conducting group meetings and courtyard meetings
∎ Provide input for proposal development and drive fund raising activities for program growth.
∎ Provide guidance to the nutrition team for the efficient program implementation.
∎ Ensure capacity development of nutrition staff based on the need assessment.
∎ Provide overall technical support for developing the adapted training materials, job aids, IEC materials and monitoring tools for Nutrition support.
∎ Arrange and conduct training to Nutrition staffs and Volunteers on Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) , infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF-E)
∎ Set up Supplementary Feeding Programme (SFP) Centers and Outreach Therapeutic Programme (OTP) Centers with support from GoB health centers
∎ Ensure maternal nutrition and IYCF-E counseling to Pregnant and Lactating mothers.
∎ Ensure supportive supervision of Nutrition programme staffs for providing nutrition education, IFA supplementation and deworming to Adolescent girls aged 10-19 years
∎ Communicate and coordinate with GoB health sector, UN and other NGOs for available nutrition services in emergency response area.
∎ Maintain financial integrity through ensuring accountability, transparency and consistency in financial proceedings.
∎ Be responsible for collection, compiling and preparing monthly progress report. And also timely submit monthly performance report
∎ Conduct and arrange staff meeting for performance review and provide technical inputs for optimum achievement.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Have excellent written and spoken language skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Have physical ability to do field work in harsh camp conditions with forcibly displaced populations.
∎ Have experience in managing teams, evaluating performance and providing guidance to team members.
∎ Have experience in working with MIS systems, budgets and results frameworks.
∎ Have knowledge about CMAM, IYCF-E , maternal and adolescent nutrition programming , programme management , financial management , staff management , capacity building , coordination with relevant sectors etc.
∎ Have ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religion. Team player.
