Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Anthropology / Social Sciences / English Literature / Development Studies / International Relations / Psychology / Mass Communication / Public Health or any other relevant disciplines from recognized university.

Job Context:
∎ Women`s Protection Support for Myanmar Refugees and Host Communities in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh.
∎ The position is responsible to manage all the project activates based in Teknaf, Cox`s Bazar. S/he will be required to travel regularly to field sites in camp and hos on regular basis. Occasional work at weekends may be required.
∎ The Project Manager will be responsible for implementation protection related activities including case management, MHPSS, male engagement of the project in accordance with the guidance of Project Focal, including the staff supervision. In addition, it is expected that the Project Manager will ensure that all grants for which s/he is focal point are implemented in a manner that ensures the highest accountability standards NGO Forum and the external (donors, local stakeholders) stakeholders. The role of the Project Manager will also involve coordination, oversight and coaching of the project team in technical and programmatic aspects of the project The Project Manager will ensure that all work plans are prepared and implemented according to schedule.
∎ The duration of the project will be until November 17, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and ensure timely Implementation of the project activity and produce structured work plan for each emergency intervention maintaining close collaboration with Project Focal and other relevant staff of the project.
∎ Collaborate with project team to define the scope and objectives of the protection response for each intervention.
∎ Oversee the implementation of the protection responses and ensure that stated goals and objectives are met.
∎ Supervise, mentor and provide capacity building trainings to the project team.
∎ Ensure compliance with NGO Forum and donor policy, procedures and practices, government rules and procedures as well.
∎ Supervise the preparation of logistics and financial requirements prior to interventions.
∎ Prepare and oversee the budget expenditure and procurement for the interventions.
∎ Ensure representation of NGO Forum in different sectoral forums, partner, and donor meetings relevant to the Protection program and communicate with relevant authorities to ensure Protection program is properly implemented in coordination with all stakeholders.
∎ Monitor and provide objective feedback related to staff performance, including completing staff performance evaluations to promote growth and professional development.
∎ Review of regular financial and narrative reports from project team, ensuring financial compliance including budget management and correct accountability documentation.
∎ Ensure all internal and external narrative reports are of good quality and completed on time, promoting good understanding about projects with donors, other sectors, partners, and communities.
∎ Manage project budget to ensure adherence to NGO Forum and donor financial procedures and requirements.
∎ Support project teams in utilizing financial planning tools, such as spending plans, procurement plans, and work plans based on project proposals.
∎ Facilitate regular training and mentoring to field staff and beneficiaries on case management, psychosocial support (based on standard Guidelines), support for vulnerable groups (including persons with disabilities), GBV mainstreaming using the standard guidelines on integrating GBV in humanitarian action.
∎ Develop community engagement methodologies and tools, participatory design of IEC materials for GBV and general protection awareness and outreach activities, in collaboration with Protection partners and cluster.
∎ Design and continuously improve GBV assessment tools and monitoring and evaluation mechanism, based on ethical and safety principles.
∎ Review periodical activity reports, case management files and provide advice and supervision on case management processes to staff.
∎ Support the development of local referral pathways and operationalize safe and ethical referral mechanisms.
∎ Build close partnerships with GBV SS and with relevant Government Ministries including Women and Child Affairs to appropriately address women's issues and GBV in national policies, laws and guidelines.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true-spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 48 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including protection (GBV, Child) intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation including project management, develop and execute strategic plans, act as a local representative, point of contact for different level of stakeholder and donor, supervising, mentoring and provide capacity building support to the project staff, budgetary and internal control, progress tracking and coping with changing situation, ability to writing reports independently. Sound knowledge on monitoring, using different software related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc. Hard working, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude.

Salary: Tk. 110000 (Monthly)
