Job Context:
∎ This position will provide leadership in planning, implementing, and monitoring the project independently including finance, human resources and logistics management. Responsibilities will be given emphasis to a compilation of the WASH annual work plan, implementation plan, MIS, guideline formulation, and report preparation.
∎ Job Location: Bishwambharpur and Tahirpur Upazila, Sunamganj but working station is Bishwambharpur.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead overall WASH project including planning, implementation, monitoring, developing sector strategies, policies & procedure, HR, budget etc.
∎ Plan and supervise WASH activities, whilst progressively building the capacity of Staff to be able to manage the activities and ensuring targets are met timely within approved budgets
∎ Monitor and track budget expenditure and burn rates, flagging over/ under expenditures and recommending corrective measures to grants management, logistic management, procurement inline with donor compliances.
∎ Liaison with donors, govt. officials, UH&FPO, UFPO, UEO and other stakeholders for necessary coordination and collaboration to smoothen the implementation of WASH projects.
∎ Coordination and facilitation with Community Group, School Managing Committee, Community Support Group of Community Clinic and different stakeholders.
∎ Carry out regular field visits to inspect works, review progress and determine/ receive feedback from the team and the beneficiaries regarding emerging challenges and gaps in original plans and provide necessary guidelines for proper operations in the field.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards.
∎ Facilitation of meeting/workshop with stakeholders developing required materials and arrange learning visit of stakeholders.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s) and minimum 5 years of experience in WASH programme management.
∎ Not over 50 years.
∎ Having valid Motor bike driving license
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills in English
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
∎ BDT 50,000/month (inclusive all)
