Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from a reputed university (Preferably with an MBBS and a Masters in Public Health)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall leadership, supervision and control of personnel and financial management related to operation of the PHIIR project.
∎ Ensure performance of the project personnel by making frequent field visits, provide necessary guidance and feedback to accelerate the project activities.
∎ Strengthen the supervision and monitoring of the CC, UH&FWC and UHC by the Union, Upazila and District level Health and Family Planning officials to ensure overall quality of health services.
∎ Liaise with local health authorities to strengthen better coordinated health systems at CC, UH&FWC and UHC level of health and family planning departments/officials.
∎ Share and exchange information in relation to any changes of plan and budget of the project with health manager and health delegate of Swiss Red Cross in Bangladesh.
∎ Organise, facilitate and participate in training, workshop, meeting and orientation etc. at Community, Union, Upazila, District, Division and National level as and when required.
∎ Support concerned authorities of the UHC, UH&FWC and CC to identify gaps, prepare annual plan and implement the plan to deliver transparent and equitable quality services.
∎ Develop and review monthly, quarterly and yearly plan of operation of the project following project documents and prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports.
∎ Coordinate local advocacy measures and provide dissemination of project content and results to all relevant stakeholders.
∎ Network and linkage building with GO, NGO and private sector for better cooperation and coordination at union, upazila, district, division and national level health and family planning authorities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years working experience in management position of public health project implemented by any national or international NGO.
∎ Knowledge on government health and family planning structures at community, union, upazila and district level.
∎ Analytical skills and ability to synthesize findings and draw practical conclusions
∎ Knowledge on general administration and financial management.
∎ Knowledge and experience in team leading and capacity building of staff.
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail/internet browsing.
∎ Ability to write independent analytical report in English and should be fluent in speaking in English.
∎ Willingness to drive motorcycle with valid driving licence.
∎ MPH degree and working with government health and family planning department will be added value.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 60000-70000 (Negotiable)
