Experience

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 48 years

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years practical experience required for BSc certified engineer, but minimum 12 years practical experience required for Diploma certified engineer.

  • Practical experience in managing construction jobs related to High-raised buildings with minimum 2 Basement construction project.

  • Experience in Real estate development, construction management, or infrastructure projects will get preference.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project), AutoCAD & BOQ software.

  • Understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP coordination.

  • Knowledge of maintaining Electrical, Plumbing & Interior decoration tasks.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Project Manager (Civil Construction) is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of real estate construction projects within time, cost, quality, and safety parameters. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring that all project activities align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop detailed project execution plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation schedules.

  • Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify technical challenges and solutions.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.

  • Ensure all statutory approvals and permits are obtained prior to construction commencement.

 

2. Project Execution & Supervision

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work progresses per approved plans and specifications.

  • Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

  • Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery and resource management.

 

3. Cost, Quality & Time Management

  • Monitor project budgets, control variations, and ensure cost optimization.

  • Approve work measurements, progress bills, and change orders in coordination with QS teams.

  • Implement quality assurance programs and ensure compliance with design specifications.

  • Track milestones and ensure timely completion of project phases.

 

4. Risk, Safety & Compliance

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental laws, and safety regulations.

  • Enforce site safety protocols and conduct regular HSE audits.

  • Coordinate with legal and liaison teams for regulatory and municipal clearances.

 

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a single point of contact between management, consultants, contractors, and site teams.

  • Conduct weekly project review meetings and prepare detailed progress reports for senior management.

  • Ensure smooth communication across all project stakeholders.

  • Handle client interface (for luxury or commercial developments) during project execution stages.

 

6. Handover & Post-Construction

  • Ensure defect-free completion and smooth handover of project to facility management / operations teams.

  • Manage snag rectification, final documentation, and statutory completion certifications.
