Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Engineer (PEng) will report to Upazila Coordinator;
∎ Ensure that project targets are achieved as per planned schedule.
∎ Assist Upazila Coordinator in achieving programmatic objectives; planning, implementation and progress; and ensure approval and endorsement of all plans;
∎ Identify and finalize most suitable 3 Schools/Madrasa for renovation/repair work
∎ Prepare Drawing, Design, estimate and BOQ of different School/Madrasa for renovation/repair.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual work plan and reports to accomplish the targeted activities;
∎ Project Engineer is responsible to implement civil construction/renovation activities at field level;
∎ Monitor the quality of materials and construction/renovation;
∎ Ensure all resources mobilization and proper utilization following the Shushilan and donor’s compliance;
∎ Assist Upazila Coordinator and Finance Officers to procure quality materials;
∎ Assist training Officer to organize different training and SMC meetings.
∎ Participate in the staffs meeting and update Conduct need based and periodical progress and ensure record keeping and dissemination;
∎ Capture field information, prepare case-studies, update database and prepare reports.
∎ Maintain gender and equality following the organizational policy and practice.
∎ Respect, maintain and monitor code of conduct practice;
∎ All kind of positive motivation to support and response in emergency;
∎ In addition to that any other duties and responsibilities may assigned by the authority / organization which need to be carried out.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Minimum of 5 years working experiences in the field of civil construction/renovation work and development project in Bangladesh with NGOs
∎ Strong understanding of key aspects of civil construction and community mobilization
∎ Effective communication
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD
∎ Practicing gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Ability to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike license
Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
