Job Responsibilities / Key Duties

• Responsible for the installation, commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Fire Detection and Fire Protection Systems, including Fire Alarm, Hydrant, Sprinkler, Gas Suppression, and Foam Suppression Systems at client facilities.

• Perform fire pump commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient system operation.

• Monitor project schedules, installation activities, and site progress to ensure timely completion in accordance with approved plans and project requirements.

• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements, drawings, specifications, and site conditions.

• Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings and layouts related to fire detection and protection systems using different versions of AutoCAD.

• Prepare, maintain, and manage project-related documentation, reports, records, and correspondence using MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

• Monitor daily project activities and prepare daily progress reports, highlighting work progress, challenges, delays, and required corrective actions.

• Coordinate with clients, project teams, vendors, consultants, and principal companies to ensure smooth execution of installation, commissioning, and service activities.

• Lead and supervise service and installation teams, ensuring proper work allocation, technical guidance, coordination, and overall team performance.

• Monitor team members' performance and provide necessary technical guidance and support to achieve project and service objectives.

• Provide on-site technical training and system operation guidance to customers, operators, and relevant personnel.

• Take responsibility as a Group/Team Leader and coordinate with both the customer and principal sides for the timely installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of supplied equipment and systems.

• Ensure all assigned work is completed within the agreed timeline while maintaining quality, safety, technical standards, and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and submit all required technical reports, service reports, inspection documents, commissioning records, and other project-related paperwork within the specified timeframe.

• Provide technical support and emergency service assistance beyond normal working hours, whenever required by project or customer needs.

• Work effectively under pressure and demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting capabilities in critical situations.

• Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication, timely response, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Report project status, technical issues, service activities, and other relevant matters to senior management as required.

• Ensure compliance with applicable project specifications, safety requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and relevant fire protection standards during installation and service activities.
