Focus Area: Auto Gas Station Projects
Location: Dhaka (with frequent field visits)
About the Role
This position is responsible for driving the development of Auto Gas Stations – from site identification and feasibility assessment to coordination with internal teams and government authorities for project execution and licensing. The role involves both fieldwork and documentation, with an emphasis on long-term leasing, regulatory approvals, and cross-functional coordination to bring each project to readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential locations for Auto Gas Stations, with a focus on urban areas near 6-8 lane roads and CNG hotspot zones
Conduct field assessments of shortlisted sites, ensuring required land size and clear access followed by govt.
Ensure a minimum distance from the nearest Autogas station on the same side of the road, and on the opposite side followed by govt.
Coordinate with internal departments (design, finance, operations)
Engage with landowners and agents for site-related negotiations, primarily on long-term lease agreements particularly in city areas where land purchase is cost-prohibitive
Explore partial land lease options within existing fuel stations if suitable
Coordinate with government agencies for necessary licenses, permits, and clearances
Track project progress from scouting to construction readiness
Maintain proper documentation for internal and regulatory purposes
