  • Experience in structural assessment, retrofitting, and design review will be an added advantage.

Civil Tech Consultant is looking for a skilled and analytical Structural Engineer to join our Structural Design Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for the structural analysis, design, detailing, and review of reinforced concrete and steel structures, ensuring compliance with BNBC and international engineering standards.

This position offers the opportunity to work on residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government infrastructure projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contributing to technically challenging assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures.

• Prepare structural calculation reports, design notes, and engineering documentation.

• Develop structural drawings, reinforcement details, and construction documentation.

• Design foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and other structural components.

• Review architectural drawings and coordinate structural requirements.

• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical engineers, and project managers.

• Ensure designs comply with BNBC, ACI, ASTM, and other relevant standards.

• Review shop drawings and respond to contractor technical queries.

• Conduct structural assessments and prepare retrofitting recommendations where required.

• Participate in site inspections to verify structural compliance and construction quality.

• Assist in preparing BOQs and technical specifications.

• Support feasibility studies and value engineering exercises.

• Prepare structural design reports for client submissions and regulatory approvals.

• Resolve structural design issues during project execution.

• Maintain proper documentation and revision control for all structural deliverables.

• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high engineering standards.
