Skills Required: Project Implementation

Additional Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of work experience with education, child support program, youth and women groups for capacity building on conflict mitigation, life skills, vocational skills, sports and culture activities with the goal of building self-esteem and confidence through addressing resilience enhancing strengths-based approach.

  • Have adequate computer knowledge on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, power point and capable to use Internet.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Bangle language effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Able to summarize the results or observation.

  • Team building capacity

  • Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities

  • Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity

  • Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary

  • Able to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license

  • Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.



Responsibilities & Context:

Project Name: Child Sponsorship Program in Rohingya and Host Community in Bangladesh

Job Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the overall field implementation of the project.
  • Ensure day-to-day implementation of activities in a quality and timely manner.
  • Supervise the implementation team.
  • Report to the Shushilan Project Focal Person, donors, CIC, RRRC, UNO, local government bodies, and other agencies.
  • Manage the project budget throughout its duration.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, festival, and seasonal distribution of commodities.
  • Conduct community sessions.
  • Plan and facilitate stakeholder participation activities.
  • Support the training of the project team and develop training materials and guidelines.
  • Write all types of reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, and project compilation reports.
  • At least 10 years of work experience in addressing drivers of conflict with an integrated, multi-sector approach.
  • Experience in managing child support programs in both camp and host community settings.
