  • Strong ability to communicate with schools, communities, government officials, NGOs, and development partners.

  • Good documentation, reporting, presentation, and follow-up skills.

  • Willingness to travel to field locations as required.



Responsibilities & Context:

Organization Profile

Progress through Innovation Society (PI) is a Bangladesh-based development organization working to expand access to digital skills, technology-aided education, youth skill development, and community-focused awareness initiatives. PI implements practical education and skills-based programs in partnership with national and international stakeholders, with a strong focus on students, youth, volunteers, schools, and underserved communities.

Job Context

The Project Coordinator will have overall operational and management responsibility for achieving the goals and objectives of the Digital Skills Program. The role will require planning, coordination, supervision, stakeholder communication, documentation, and regular follow-up to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Executive Director, program management, project staff, partners, schools, local government representatives, relevant government departments, and other stakeholders to strengthen program quality, ownership, collaboration, and timely delivery of project outputs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and implementation priorities in collaboration with senior management and relevant stakeholders.

  • Develop full-scale project plans, work plans, implementation schedules, and related communication documents.

  • Coordinate project staff and guide team members to perform their assigned responsibilities effectively.

  • Manage project activities, budget follow-up, administrative coordination, and logistics support to ensure smooth implementation.

  • Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones, field activities, training activities, and follow-up actions using appropriate tools.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to relevant personnel and monitor progress regularly.

  • Track project milestones, deliverables, outputs, risks, and implementation challenges.

  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, meeting notes, and presentations as required.

  • Conduct project evaluation, assessment, monitoring visits, and result analysis to support decision-making.

  • Ensure project outputs are delivered on time and maintain the expected quality standards.

  • Maintain regular liaison with project stakeholders, including schools, communities, local government representatives, NGOs, and relevant departments.

  • Build and maintain collaboration, networking, and ownership with relevant partners and stakeholders working in digital skills development.

  • Explore opportunities for innovation and improvement in project implementation.

  • Participate in field visits and supervise field-level activities when required.

Reporting Line

  • Reports to: Executive Director, Progress through Innovation Society (PI).

Workplace: Work at office and Field

Program: Digital Skills and Technology-Aided Program

Field Visit: Approximately 30%
