Job Context
Progress through Innovation Society (PI) is looking for a motivated intern to support its education project activities. The intern will assist the program team in planning, coordination, documentation, school communication, training support, monitoring, and reporting related to education and skills-based initiatives.
This internship is suitable for a young professional, current university student, or fresh graduate who is interested in education, development work, digital skills, school-based programs, and community-focused learning initiatives.
Role Purpose
The Education Project Intern will provide program and administrative support to ensure smooth implementation of education project activities. The intern will assist in coordinating with schools, teachers, students, trainers, volunteers, and project staff while maintaining proper documentation and supporting monitoring activities.
Job Responsibilities
Support day-to-day implementation of education project activities under the guidance of the program team.
Assist in preparing schedules, activity plans, training materials, attendance sheets, monitoring formats, and basic project documents.
Support communication with schools, teachers, students, volunteers, trainers, and other stakeholders as required.
Assist in organizing training sessions, school-level activities, meetings, workshops, orientations, and awareness sessions.
Maintain participant/student attendance, training records, contact lists, and related project databases.
Support monitoring of student training, classroom activities, teacher engagement, and field-level progress.
Collect basic information, photos, field notes, feedback, and success stories from project activities when assigned.
Assist in preparing short activity updates, field visit notes, meeting notes, and basic progress reports.
Support logistics arrangements for education project activities, including materials, stationery, venue preparation, and communication follow-up.
Assist in maintaining digital and physical files related to project activities, schools, participants, teachers, and volunteers.
Support data entry, document formatting, simple analysis, and preparation of presentation or reporting materials.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Participate in field visits to schools or project locations when required.
Perform any other project-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Internship Duration
The internship duration will be 6 months.
Continuation or future engagement may be considered based on organizational need and intern performance, but it is not guaranteed.
