Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of medical services across Health Posts serving Rohingya refugees in Ukhiya and Teknaf. They oversee medical staff, ensure quality service delivery, and maintain compliance with national protocols and international humanitarian standards.
∎ Key duties include coordinating daily clinical activities, supporting staff training and capacity building, and ensuring medical staff adhere to clinical and infection prevention protocols. The Medical Coordinator monitors patient flow, disease trends, and health data, submitting regular reports to stakeholders and responding promptly to disease outbreaks or emergencies.
∎ She/he will work closely with government authorities, IOM, UN agencies, and NGOs to align services with sector priorities, participate in Health Cluster meetings, and foster referral linkages. The role also involves ensuring the availability and rational use of medical supplies and equipment. Additionally, the Medical Coordinator supports staff management, promotes teamwork, and ensures accountability to patients and the affected communities. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of medical care, ensuring continuity of services, and supporting the overall health and well‑being of the Rohingya refugees in Ukhiya and Teknaf.
∎ Skills and Competencies; Strong clinical and operational knowledge of primary health care services. Excellent team leadership and staff management abilities. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Capacity for working under pressure in a challenging and resource-limited environment. Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, health information systems). Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and cultural sensitivity.

∎ Regular user of Computer, E-mail & Internet with skilled and confidentiality.
∎ The incumbent is expected to have excellent fluency in written and oral communication skills both Bangla and English.
∎ If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.
