Education:

bachelor’s degree in social science, Public Health, Disaster Management, Environmental Science or a related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in humanitarian response or development projects.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of humanitarian principles and camp-based programming.

• Experience in field data collection, reporting, and documentation.

• Ability to work in challenging field environments with diverse communities.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and email.

• Data collection using Kobo tool.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

• Strong teamwork, integrity, and accountability.

Purpose of the Position

The Project Assistant will support effective implementation of project activities through field monitoring, data collection, documentation, reporting, and coordination. The position is critical to ensure quality service delivery and compliance within the Rohingya refugee camp context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation and monitoring of project activities at field level.
  • Collect, verify, and record project data using approved tools (KOBO tool) and formats.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress and monitoring reports.
  • Maintain accurate beneficiary lists, attendance sheets, and activity documentation.
  • Support coordination with Camp-in-Charge (CiC), partners, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify field-level challenges, gaps, and risks and report them to the supervisor.
  • Assist MEAL activities, including monitoring visits, assessments, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure proper documentation in line with organizational and donor requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
