Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/ Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institutions with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute the implementation of 'Empowering the RMG workers living in urban slums of Dhaka' project's interventions at the field level as front line staff
∎ Organise field level events as per guideline to achieve project goal, objectives and outcome
∎ Maintain strong communication and networking with RMG factory officials for implementing activities within the factory and linked with RMG workers
∎ Maintain strong relation with house owners of the nearby slums where RMG workers are living to mobilise and ensure services from one stop service centre (OSSC)
∎ Maintain documentation of implementing project activities and preparation of monthly, half yearly and yearly report
∎ Assist in organising training, workshops and other events at field level according to target plan. Coordinate activities of online database, DPS, health insurance and Maya Apa App
∎ Provide support to the technical team, research team, knowledge management & a M&E department of the project in the field for effective implementation
∎ Create working relationships with the local labor organisation, service providers etc.
∎ Liaison with local government institution, local law enforcement agencies for proper implementation of the project activities
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is required. Working with RMG workers will be preferred.
∎ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale and complex projects.
∎ Have knowledge on current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development.
∎ Have skills on community organising and social mobilisation.
∎ Excellent communication, presentation, organisation and negotiation skills
∎ Awareness of political processes and protocols
Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary 20,872/-
