Job Context:
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The 'Programme Manager, Legal Protection' is responsible for overseeing and advising the legal aid activities of SELP that designed to support the violence survivors (women). S/he is expected to bring innovations in designing efficient and survivor centric legal aid interventions for SELP as well as assist in capacity building of the programme staff on legal protection.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Provide overall strategic and technical leadership in the design, development, planning and implementation of the legal aid interventions of SELP in line with the programme design/ strategy.
∎ Provide guidance to the programme management and the district level staff in ensuring effective legal support to the violence survivors
∎ Collaborate with panel lawyers, DLAC, OCC, Police and other GO/ NGO service providers for ensuring the protection and social reintegration of the violence survivors
∎ Plan and execute the national level advocacy for strengthening the public prosecution system in collaboration with GJD and ASC
∎ Develop and maintain partnership with national and grassroots CSOs/platforms to promote social movements /campaigns focused on VAWG, child marriage, and engage men and boys (EMB).
∎ Liaise with external stakeholders including government officials, donors for new partnership building and attend workshops, seminars, meetings, forums, fairs, trainings etc.
∎ Provide technical support to develop IEC/SBCC materials on legal protection in line with SELP strategy.
∎ Contribute in fund raising; developing concept paper, proposal, annual operational plan, M&E and result framework
∎ Undertake field visits and coordinate with team to identify areas of improvement to increase the efficiency and quality of the projects/programme
∎ Contribute in writing SELP progress reports, policy brief, advocacy plan etc. and any other qualitative study/ analysis

∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
∎ Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word
∎ Projects Management, Leadership and Analytical ability
∎ Knowledge regarding the state of Legal rights, legal protection, gender-based violence and the legal framework to address VAWC.
∎ Able to prioritize work and manage workload and multitasking efficiently
∎ Proactive and hardworking
∎ Integrity, Creativity, Result oriented and flexibility
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience in relevant field
