Work experience

Skills
Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar platforms.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English (Bangla is a plus).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Familiarity with collective impact or partnership-based programs.
Basic understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.

Job Purpose: The Program Officer will support Oporajita – Collective Impact on the Future of Work, a multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together diverse partners to improve the lives of women garment workers in Bangladesh. As part of the backbone team, this role will contribute to coordination, communication, knowledge management, and partner engagement.
Role Summary : The Program Officer will help lead the development and execution of strategic communications while supporting broader programmatic functions of the Oporajita Collective Impact initiative.
This role combines content creation, storytelling, and digital engagement with program coordination, partner communication, and documentation, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and strengthening the initiative’s visibility and impact.
I. Main duties and responsibilities
Communications & Content Development
Design and produce high-quality content for digital platforms, including graphics, infographics, videos, and short-form storytelling.
Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with program and organizational goals.
Create and edit content for newsletters, reports, blogs, press releases, and donor communications.
Maintain and update web and social media platforms with engaging, relevant content.
Ensure brand consistency across all materials in line with organizational guidelines.
Program Support & Coordination
Support day-to-day coordination of Oporajita activities across partners.
Assist in planning and executing events, workshops, and campaigns.
Contribute to internal communication flows across stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Provide logistical and administrative support to program implementation.
Knowledge Management & Documentation
Document program processes, success stories, and lessons learned.
Support the development of reports, case studies, and impact narratives.
Assist in maintaining shared knowledge systems and repositories.
Contribute to tracking progress against program indicators and milestones.
Stakeholder Engagement
Support communication and coordination with partners, donors, and external stakeholders.
Help facilitate regular communication among collective impact partners.
Contribute to visibility efforts showcasing partner contributions and program impact.
Innovation & Digital Trends
Stay updated on emerging communication trends, tools, and platforms.
Introduce creative approaches to storytelling and audience engagement.
Support experimentation with new formats (e.g., reels, interactive content, campaigns).
