Job Context:
∎ Duty Station : Field Office in Cox`s Bazaar with occasional visits to the Dhaka HQ as per project needs.
∎ Project Description:
∎ The Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Support (YES) Program funded by USAID and implemented by the consortium led by Relief International (RI) with the Chrisitan Commission for Development of Bangladesh (CCDB), mPower Social Enterprises Limited (mPower) and the Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is a community driven development approach to enhance the skills and competencies of female and male unemployed youth in Teknaf, Ukhiya, Ramu and Cox`s Bazar Sadar, that will ultimately reduce the risk of conflict among the host and Rohingya communities in Cox`s Bazar by creating sustainable, market oriented resilient livelihood opportunities for Host Communities (HCs), while fostering an enabling environment for social cohesion.
∎ We are looking for someone who will take complete ownership of successful execution of this project by fulfilling the job responsibilities mentioned below.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The overall role of the Project Manager would be to identify and mobilize the needed resources, set milestones, keep the work on the track, coordinate activities, make sure everyone on the team contributes, mediate conflicts and make sure project goals are delivered on time and within budget. The PM will spend a significant amount of time on the field and might have to work for a prolonged period from related project field offices. Specific job role for the position would be the following:
∎ • Partnership:
∎ Managing partnership with the client, donor, and/or lead partner through periodic meetings with the Program Manager and AOR.
∎ Identifying and developing the right strategic partnerships for research, requirement analysis, communication dissemination and solution deployment with Public and/or Private sector stakeholders.
∎ • Coordination:
∎ Proactively take complete handover from the planning and/or Sales team.
∎ Initiate kick-off meetings with department heads to create a roll-out plan, assign team-members and create granular activity plan for each sub-task.
∎ Coordinating between different departments to ensure the smooth flow of the software development lifecycle.
∎ Coordinating with other project partners to manage dependencies.
∎ • Research & Requirement Analysis:
∎ Leading the research efforts on the fields, and overseeing the deliveries of the consultants and the enumerators
∎ Facilitating the requirement analysis activities and ensure timely delivery of BRD & SRS.
∎ • Administration:
∎ Taking lead in the recruitment of new project resources, by creating job descriptions, sorting resumes and conducting interviews. Facilitating the onboarding and orientation of new recruits.
∎ Maintaining the budget adherence, and finances of the project-related costs.
∎ Organizing and managing the field visits, travel itinerary and observing security details.
∎ Overseeing the work of the Field Manager and facilitating the work efficiency of the project office.
∎ • Monitoring, evaluation & reporting:
∎ Updating tasks (Float) and deadlines (Toggle Plan) for the internal management of resources.
∎ Collecting information from the project staff to create and submit periodic activity reports.
∎ Creating/facilitating and submitting the milestone reports on time. In case of a delivery delay, raising flags early-on, removing the impediments and communicating with relevant stakeholders to maintain full transparency.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-4 years of work experience in capacity development and communications related projects.
∎ Prior experience in Government/NGO project management will be treated as an advantage.
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English. Advanced communication skills to do effective and goal-oriented project management.
∎ Work cooperatively and effectively with clients and internal teams to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
∎ Assess crisis situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
∎ Ability to perform logic driven negotiations with project stakeholders.
∎ Strong decision-making capabilities based on the available information
∎ Keen observation skills with attention towards details to identify different issues of existing projects and coming up with optimal solutions.
∎ Proactive problem-solving attitude.
∎ Ability to Pick up new skills and processes quickly and rigorously.
∎ Managing and working cooperatively with all relevant project stakeholders in a tactful and effective manner to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
∎ Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, Microsoft Visio, Project Management tools.
