• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a managerial role in Production within a furniture manufacturing factory is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of furniture production processes, raw materials, quality control standards, and machinery operations.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse workforce and maintain a high-performance work environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.

• Proficient in production planning, inventory control, and reporting tools (manual and digital systems).

• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to factory operations.

• Strong coordination and communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional departments.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound operational decisions.

• Educational background in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related technical field will be considered an advantage.

1. Production Planning & Workflow Management

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities.

• Prepare production plans based on customer orders and deadlines.

• Ensure optimal manpower, materials, and machinery usage.

• Maintain smooth workflow between cutting, assembling, polishing/painting, and finishing units.

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise the Production Workforces.

• Train and guide workers to follow standard processes.

• Assign tasks and ensure timely completion.

• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and a safe working environment.

3. Quality Control & Standards

• Implement and maintain quality standards for all furniture items.

• Inspect products during and after production.

• Reduce defects, rework, and material wastage.

• Ensure proper finishing, fitting, and final product standards.

4. Materials & Inventory Management

• Monitor availability of raw materials.

• Coordinate with procurement for timely material purchase.

• Reduce unnecessary material consumption and maintain accurate stock records.

5. Machinery Operation & Maintenance Oversight

• Ensure factory machines are functioning properly.

• Schedule routine maintenance and reduce downtime.

• Report any technical issues to management promptly.

6. Process Improvement & Cost Control

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

• Reduce production delays, material wastage, and labor inefficiencies.

• Maintain production reports and cost records.

7. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safety rules are followed in the factory.

• Maintain a clean and organized production area.

• Follow company policy and compliance guidelines.

8. Reporting & Communication

• Prepare daily/weekly production reports.

• Communicate progress, issues, and requirements to management.

• Coordinate with design, sales, and procurement teams.
