Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Establish clear security objectives, detailed product specifications, and conduct thorough threat modeling and risk assessments to ensure products meet security and functionality standards.
∎ Collaborate with UX/UI designers and engineers to create secure, intuitive, and user-centric product designs while ensuring that the designs are aligned with business goals, security protocols, and technical feasibility.
∎ Conduct in-depth market research, gather user feedback, analyze competitor products, and identify emerging trends to inform feature development and ensure the product addresses market demands and evolving customer needs.
∎ Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity technologies, incorporating cutting-edge tools, techniques, and methodologies into the product development process, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, quality assurance, and design to ensure smooth coordination, alignment, and effective execution of the product development strategy, while maintaining clear and constant communication with all stakeholders.
∎ Ensure all products adhere to relevant industry standards and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001), and lead security audits, certifications, and compliance initiatives to meet legal and industry requirements.
∎ Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept and ideation through design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch improvements, while developing and maintaining a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
∎ Engage directly with customers, sales teams, and customer support to gather actionable insights and feedback, and translate these insights into specific product features and improvements that meet user needs while balancing security and usability.
∎ Plan and allocate resources for product development effectively, ensuring budget is managed efficiently, costs are controlled, and resources are optimally utilized, without compromising on the security standards and features of the product.
∎ Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), measure product performance, monitor security efficacy, and analyze customer adoption data to make informed, data-driven decisions to continuously improve product functionality and security.
∎ As a Product Development Manager, you will manage the technical development of our cybersecurity products, ensuring that they are built to the highest standards and delivered on time. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, and QA, to bring ideas from concept to reality. Your role will be critical in executing the product vision through effective project management, resource coordination, and technical oversight.
