Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oxfam is looking for People & Culture Coordinator to ensure the development and implementation of appropriate HR strategy culture for Oxfam response in Cox's Bazar that ensures managers and staff are supported & enable the environment, building relationship and mutual accountability to expedite and flourish the Oxfam Leadership Model.
∎ To contribute to the PSEA activities and governance of the organization as a member of the Senior Management Team.
∎ Responsible to assist the Director P&C and OD for effective HR planning, designing, developing and evaluating human resource-related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals aligned to the Country Operating Model (COM).
∎ Furthermore, leading and facilitating the HR and OD process for an effective, people-focused organization. Extending cooperation in strategies and objectives for the Rohingya refugee response as a whole as a member of the Senior Management team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 to 5 years' experience in relevant to emergencies work with humanitarian organizations;
∎ A minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources Management and Development; excellent knowledge on local labor law and implementation;
∎ Performance and demonstrable interest in personal development, proven track record of strong HR management with proven leadership skill Ability to work within a team or independently (often unsupervised);
∎ Adaptable in approach to work with a willingness to work under pressure in a demanding environment;
∎ Ability to influence and support colleagues in appreciating the importance of Human Resources standards and procedures;
∎ Effective verbal and written communication skills, including high-level interpersonal and representational capabilities;
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Bangla essential;
∎ Computing skills, including knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheets and database management as well as familiar with PeopleSoft and eArcu Software;
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an approachable working style, sensitivity to the needs of others;
∎ Show respect to confidentiality and advise staff on professional HR issues; ability to work in a systematic and well-organized manner, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
∎ A strong commitment to Oxfam's purpose, a broad understanding of the work culture in the "development" sector and its impact on key areas of responsibility and a commitment to humanitarian principles and action; an understanding of gender and diversity considerations within key areas of responsibility and commitment to addressing inequalities in the workplace and the programme.
Salary:
∎ BDT. 1,722,303 gross per annum (13 months)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 10% market supplement with other benefits e.g. hardship allowance, medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.
