Job Context:
∎ Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd is a high quality Denim Garments manufacture in Comilla - EPZ. It is vertical setup of denim garment manufacturing company with Embroidery, Printing Laundry & ETP. We are certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard)/OCS (Organic Content Standard)/LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)/SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit).
∎ Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone
∎ Reporting Authority: Manager
∎ Work Hours : 8-hour work shift, 8:00 am-5:00 pm and as per company policy
∎ Saturday to Thursdays
∎ Minimal amount of being "on-call"
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to ensure garments costing, consumption, pattern development, grading for production.
∎ Able to ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD and making hundred percent accurate markers at best.
∎ Able to ensure sample quality (styling, measurement, dummy fitting etc), and all technical aspects are fully complied with the buyer requirements.
∎ Review and Understand buyer comments on Pattern & Sample and ensure necessary correction as required by buyer.
∎ Able to provide technical advice and support to customers, merchandising staffs, factories, and production team members.
∎ Able to communicate with buyer, merchandiser and factory production staffs.
∎ Able to attend meeting with the buyer or management as required.
∎ Any other job as assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Well sound to operate CAD software, (Preferably in TUKA Tech)
∎ Computer literacy with mail communication is a must.
Salary: Negotiable
