Responsibilities & Context:
Operate sugar dissolver, melting tank, filtration system, and transfer pumps.
Prepare sugar syrup as per approved recipe, batch size, and SOP.
Ensure correct brix, temperature, and clarity of sugar syrup.
Transfer prepared syrup safely to the syrup holding tank / mixer.
Check and record brix, temperature, and visual clarity of syrup.
Coordinate with QC for sampling and approval before use.
Maintain strict hygiene and GMP practices in sugar room.
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of tanks, pipelines, and floors.
Support CIP activities as per schedule and SOP.
Follow LOTO and safety procedures during cleaning or maintenance.
Maintain batch preparation records, brix logs, and consumption records.
Record sugar usage and report abnormal loss or wastage.
Coordinate with production, QC, and maintenance teams.
