Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages the quality team to ensure the fulfilment of the safety and quality requirements of the products, measures quality key performance indicators and manages quality costs and the improvement process through the suppliers base, promoting the culture of quality in the company and at suppliers.
∎ Defines training programs and initiatives to increase effectiveness and know-how of quality methods both in quality team and in suppliers' organizations.
∎ Sourcing, evaluating and selecting new suppliers when required. Manages and works with the suppliers in maintaining good partnership relationship.
∎ Measure the performance of each supplier and monitoring the implementation of requested corrective and improvement actions in order to ensure products which meet the planned quality level are shipped.
∎ Manage good relationship with the suppliers and develop reliable network in garment sector.
∎ Manage and supervise the quality and merchandising team in our Dhaka liaison office.
∎ Work closely with our Textile department and cross functions located in Shenzhen.
∎ Develop and implement continuous improvement plans or corrective actions as needed
∎ Manage department work flow, workloads and resources to ensure deadlines are met
∎ Lead the quality control team and partner with suppliers on technical advice and application of quality standard.
∎ Provide timely and effective communication and regular production reports to our Headquarter in Italy.
∎ Ensure the office operations are in line with the local regulations and Corporate Governance Guidelines.
∎ Provide performance evaluation of the team members to HQ for annual review.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8-year experience in apparel quality control management, especially in woven, knit and sweater together with solid people management experience.
∎ Knowledgeable and strong networking with Textile Bangladesh industry-key players and suppliers in apparel
∎ Has good understanding of garment operation process, fabric construction and solving quality problems
∎ Has import and export knowledge and experiences in garment sector.
∎ Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
∎ International working experience across the textile supply chain
∎ Strong project management skills and problem solving skill.
∎ Experience in team management working in multiple countries
∎ Mature, responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
∎ Fluent in Spoken and Written English.
