Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including inbound and outbound freight, warehouse management, and transportation.
∎ Oversee the end-to-end process of freight forwarding and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Prepare and review documentation related to shipping, customs, and inventory management.
∎ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as shipping lines, customs brokers, and vendors, to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Track and report on shipment status, and proactively address any issues or delays.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and minimize costs.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
∎ Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics and freight forwarding activities.
∎ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
∎ A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
∎ Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, supply chain management, or a similar role.
∎ Prior experience in handling import/export documentation, customs procedures, and transportation management is highly preferred.
∎ Proven track record of managing logistics operations and optimizing supply chain processes.
∎ Strong understanding of logistics operations, including import/export procedures, transportation management, and customs clearance.
∎ Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
∎ Problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Sound knowledge of international shipping regulations, documentation, and compliance.
